Test for Logan Reidsma
I started thinking about the concept of home. Growing up all across the country, I feel like I’ve had multiple homes, many at the same time. I felt curious about how others thought of this concept so I decided to ask my roommates and parents what their interpretation of home is.
“Home is a place where your friends and family are. It can span multiple locations and can often morph as time progresses.” – Logan Reidsma
“Home is family. Home is somewhere I know I can go and just relax and be myself and feel safe and comfortable.” – E.J. Dziedzina
“It is a place where I have a very strong sense of security centered around a familial unit.” - Jake Petti
“Home is a place where you feel comfortably closed off to the rest of the world around you.” – Brandon Stevens
“It is a private place that I can go and unwind and not have to think about anyone outside of the people that live there.” - Mom
“Home is a safe and comfortable place where loved family and friends are, that you are always welcomed in, and is often a familiar place where you feel at ease when there or miss it when you’re gone.” - Dad
